After launching a brand that includes dance shoes, fashion shoes, and most recently, a diffusion collection, the designer and founder of LaDuca Couture debuts his bridal line. “I have a lot of gals come in for wedding shoes,” he says. “They come to me because they know that I have fashion shoes, and they’re the most comfortable heels. What I bring to the table is a shoe that you can wear all ceremony, reception, all day long.”

The bridal collection features eight styles; four in the couture line retailing for $300 to $475, and four in the Bella Duca bridal line retailing for $175 to $225. The shoes will feature satins in shades of soft ivory and brilliant white as well as perlatto leathers that have an underlying sparkle without being high gloss. Metal heels, patent trim, bows and sparkling adornments will also be important. “I don’t want to throw satin on a shoe and call it a wedding shoe,” he says. “We’re using all of the elements that make a fashion shoe gorgeous, then taking it in the realm of a wedding shoe. This is a special day for somebody; let’s go out of our way to make it special for that person.”
