Benjamin Lovell, Naot Donate Shoes To Needy
Over 100 Pairs Go To Philadelphia Organization

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.—This fall Philadelphia retailer Benjamin Lovell Shoes teamed up with Naot to donate shoes to People’s Emergency Center (PEC), a non-profit organization which assists families in need in the area. “We wanted to take advantage of Naot’s generous offer to donate shoes to people in need, in our marketplace,” stated John Holden, COO and spokesperson for Benjamin Lovell Shoes. “As soon as we qualified PEC with Naot and submitted our request, they sent us well over 100 pairs of shoes and sandals to distribute to the women and teens at PEC. Everyone knows how good it feels to get a new pair of shoes for that special event, or that important job interview, and we just wanted to help that happen at PEC, ” Holden said.

Families that turn to PEC come with serious problems, and most are headed by single mothers who have never lived on their own. "We provide everything from housing to healthcare, to employment and training for our families, and our community partners like Benjamin Lovell Shoes help us in many unique ways," states spokesperson Grace Hightower.

Benjamin Lovell Shoes opened in Philadelphia, on South Street, 21 years ago and now has three locations in Philadelphia, as well as locations in Haddonfield, Chadds Ford and Baltimore. They have maintained a history of charitable giving through their Food for Shoes program, Crocs for Kids with the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation, and Soles4Souls with Clarks.
