“Having had serious health-related issues this year, I have decided to make a lifestyle change and will be leaving my official post as CEO of WSA,” Farber said in a statement. “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished over the past several years, and believe our marriage with ENK has added great value to our events and to our customers. I have great faith in the ENK/WSA team moving forward, and will continue to serve as a consultant to the company. I’m looking forward to what the future may bring.”

Elyse Kroll, chairman of ENK, which acquired WSA last year, tells WSAToday.com that COO Diane Stone will continue to run the day-to-day operations of WSA. “ENK has enjoyed working with Skip, Diane and the talented management team from WSA as we have worked to integrate our two fine companies,” she says. “Diane Stone will continue to serve as WSA chief operating officer and lead the footwear, publishing and marketing divisions of ENK International. Her experience, insight and vision are a great addition to the ENK executive team as we look forward to an exciting future. We appreciate the leadership Skip has provided to date and are pleased that he will continue to work with us on several key projects over the next few months in a consulting capacity. We wish him good health and much happiness going forward”
