Black Eyed Peas' Fergie

For the gal who wants to look as glamorous as a pop star, Brown Shoe Co. is launching not one, but two collections, in conjunction with songstress and Black Eyed Peas member Fergie. The Fergie and Fergalicious by Fergie lines are inspired by the Dutchess herself in an effort to give consumers a small piece of her style. “Whether she’s performing a concert, shopping, clubbing, walking the red carpet or just hanging out with friends, Fergie wants to look hip and fashion right—just like most women,” Gary Rich, president of Brown Shoe wholesale, tells WSAToday. “Both lines have their own subtle iconic ornamentation and details that represent symbols that are important to Fergie and recognized by her fans.”The collections will encompass a wide range of silhouettes including fashion athletic-inspired shoes with a street edge, platforms, wedges, flats and gladiator sandals. Wood bottoms, as well as bold and expressive colors, will also hit a high note. The Fergie collection will offer sophisticated, sexy footwear with a glam rock influence, while Fergalicious by Fergie is fun and funky with a splash of pop rock. “There is a strong group of neutrals, because Fergie likes to wear naturals and shades of tan with jeans,” Rich says. “Materials are important, and we’re creating unique looks with underglass patents, exotic textures and prints and natural, vachetta, waxed and burnished leathers.” Fergalicious will retail for $29 to $59 and Fergie for $69 to $89.
