Sole Vert

JanSport will send sneakerheads packing this fall with its limited-edition Sole Packs. The 1,500-bag collection will feature two designs—Sole Vert and Sole Pack—each outfitted with a custom-made rubber-molded shoe base fused onto the bottom of the bag.

“JanSport has always been a company that is in step with its consumers,” explains Eric Rothenhaus, JanSport director of research and design. “By combining contemporary design and product innovation, we’ve taken the cue from the sneakerhead lifestyle and developed unique cup sole technology to create the bottom of JanSport’s new Sole Packs, creating these one-of-a-kind packs.”

Sole Pack

A messenger bag in suede leather and nylon, Sole Vert takes its inspiration from ’70s puffer jackets, but stays hip with an adjustable seatbelt-style shoulder strap and a quilted laptop sleeve. Sole Pack gives the classic nylon backpack a street-smart update with a shoelace spreader on the shoulder strap, internal quilted laptop sleeve and a translucent pack bottom. Both styles will retail for $100.
