Sebago Opens New York Pop-Up Store Brand Pairs Up with Vane for Limited-Edition Line ROCKFORD, Mich. (Mar. 27, 2009)—Sebago will be in a New York state of mind tonight as it opens the doors to a pop-up shop in the Big Apple. Conducted in partnership with local fashion and design collective Vane, the event also celebrates the debut of a limited-edition footwear collection. In addition to stocking Vane for Sebago, the store will offer pieces from Vane’s private label jewelry collection, additional Sebago footwear styles and select Sebago apparel pieces. The store will be open until April 20. “Vane approached us about a collaboration because they wanted to work with an iconic brand with authentic products, and felt our classic 2-eye, Docksides pattern would make an important statement to their consumers,” says Mike Walls, Sebago director of sales, U.S. market. “We are excited to bring Sebago to Manhattan’s Lower East Side, where the nautical and boat shoe trends are going strong.
