Sprunk, Singer Step Up At Nike
Athletic Giant Adds Executive Muscle

BEAVERTON, Ore. (August 15, 2008)—Eric Sprunk, a 15-year employee of Nike, Inc. (NKE), has been promoted to vice president of product for the company. In this newly created position, Sprunk will oversee all Nike brand product across the company’s footwear, equipment and apparel divisions from design and development to manufacturing.

“Eric is a seasoned leader who brings strong global management experience and a successful track record to this new, very important role,” says Nike brand president Charlie Denson. “Nike’s growth has been, and will continue to be, fueled by our ability to deliver innovative, superior products. Under Eric’s leadership, we look forward to extending Nike’s legacy of innovation and product excellence.”

Stepping into Sprunk’s old position as vice president of footwear is Jan Singer, who most recently served as vice president of footwear sport culture.
