Super Heroes Inspire Reebok’s New Kids’ Line
Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk Kick In

NEW YORK (Mar. 31, 2008)—Reebok is teaming up with Marvel Entertainment to add super powers to its latest line of children’s footwear. The new collection of kids’ sneakers will feature Marvel’s well-known super heroes, Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk, and will coincide with the release of each hero’s respective film. Iron Man, the cool exec with a heart of steel opens in theaters May 2, and the Incredible Hulk, otherwise known as Dr. Robert Bruce Banner becomes irradiated by deadly gamma energy June 13.

“We are excited to partner with Reebok and launch an amazing collection of children’s sneakers around these two major event films,” says Paul Gitter, president of consumer products for North America, Marvel Entertainment. “The retail exclusive with Foot Locker and Kids Foot Locker enables Marvel to further maximize the retail exposure for these two phenomenal properties. This partnership bolsters our overall strategy to elevate the stature of our character brands, and we anticipate expanding this relationship with other franchises in the coming year.”

The collections, each of which includes low- and mid-style shoes, will feature bold materials and designs that capture the look and feel of these characters. Available exclusively in Foot Locker stores, retail range for the lines is $45 to $65.
