Wolverine Hires Finance Veteran To Fill Three Positions
Don Grimes Will Start with the Company Next Month

ROCKFORD, Mich. (Apr. 22, 2008)—Wolverine World Wide, Inc. (WWW) has appointed one man as the company’s senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. Although Don Grimes comes to Wolverine with more than 15 years of experience in finance and retail, footwear is a new venture for him. Grimes will kick off his career with Wolverine at the end of next month and will report to president and CEO Blake W. Krueger.

Most recently Grimes, 45, served as the executive vice president and chief financial officer for auto aftermarket accessories company Keystone Automotive Operations, Inc. in Exeter, Pa. Prior to his time at Keystone, Grimes spent 15 years at Brown-Forman Corporation, a manufacturer and marketer of premium wines and spirits in Louisville, Ky. There he held a series of senior corporate and divisional finance roles, including vice president, beverage finance for the company’s global beverage business; vice president, corporate planning & analysis; chief financial officer of Brown-Forman Spirits Americas and vice president, corporate development.
