This fall boots are going above and beyond what’s expected. Designers are extending the shaft to fit over the knee, offering sexy, yet sophisticated style. Many boots even boast several options in one, allowing the wearer to fold down the cuff so she’ll be covered regardless of what’s on her fashion plate.

This flat vegan boot in a gentle gray gets its height from the shaft, which covers the knee. “Over-the-knee is a very wearable trend, especially in suedes.
