Amy's Shoes in Rocky River, Ohio

Working in corporate real estate in Cleveland, Ohio, Amy Puchowicz was hard pressed to find chic styles in her hometown. “There aren’t really boutiques here; it’s mostly department stores,” she explains. She decided to seize the opportunity in this underserviced market, opening Amy’s Shoes last November in Rocky River. “This is a community where if you offer something different and unique, customers will come back,” says Puchowicz. This summer, Amy’s Shoes customers are looking for color and fun details. Here are a few styles flying off her shelves.
